About Nice Netball

Hi, I’m Izzy, founder of Nice Netball.

Like many women, I loved netball at school but stopped playing after leaving education. Years later, I rediscovered the sport and quickly realised there was a gap for something less competitive and more social.

I’ve never been a huge fan of the gym. I found it intimidating, repetitive and, quite frankly, boring! I wanted to create a way for women to exercise that felt fun, welcoming and enjoyable. Somewhere you could make friends, have a laugh and leave feeling better than when you arrived.

That’s how Nice Netball was born.

The name reflects everything we stand for. Growing up, I experienced bullying and wanted to create a community where women support women, build each other up and feel comfortable being themselves.

Today, Nice Netball has grown into a thriving community with clubs across the UK, helping thousands of women stay active, make friends and gain confidence.

Whether you’ve never played before or haven’t picked up a netball in decades, you’ll always find a warm welcome at Nice Netball.

Hi! I’m Tara, Regional Manager at Nice Netball. I was a teacher for over five years, but my life took a wonderful turn when I discovered the world of netball. Moving to a new area can be daunting, but netball became my anchor. It didn't just give me a much-needed release; it introduced me to a fantastic community of people of all ages who have become dear friends. That’s exactly what I love most about being involved with Nice Netball, the opportunity to connect, chat, and play with such a diverse group of individuals. Netball has truly become a massive part of my life again, and I couldn't be happier to share that passion with you!
